About Garrett & Becca
Garrett and I (Becca) entered into the professional moving service a few years ago. Garrett began by working at a couple of the Upstate’s top moving companies at the time, and we both were able to join together in one business in July of 2022 as we launched Greenville Moving Company (and soon Greenville Cleaning and Greenville Handymen in 2023).
We had no idea the prior year that we would be able to do this kind of business venture together. But we saw the increasing need for a moving company that consistently cared, and we felt our backgrounds would combined well to be able to meet that need. The hard part about consistently caring for customers is that caring isn’t just about intentions; it requires consistent execution as well. We want to move people in a way that communicates we care about them and their stuff—every time and at every step.
And as we have approached moving from that angle, we discovered there are a few keys ways that we can improve the moving process. A few of those ideas have already been implemented, and we’re excited to keep raising the bar, making moving safer and simpler than the current moving model that exists. This is where the slogan “Your Best Move Yet” comes from. If we care about our customers, we not only want to be the best option available to them, but we want to continually improve our standards and services to serve our customers better every time.
I grew up with an entrepreneurial father who exemplified a big heart for nonprofit ministry. My studies were aimed at international business and nonprofit development, and Garrett has been pursuing pastoral ministry mixed with business development. Currently, he is a pastor at Palmetto Church in Powdersville while working with me on the development side of the moving company. We work together to plan moves and figure out how we can leverage this company to be a positive influence in Greenville. Ultimately, we hope to play a part in making Greenville the best place to move and live.
